Hello, chums.
Did a bit of drawing practice at work today and yesterday. I decided to start drawing faces on receipts with biro, without first pencilling anything in, or measuring the size and shapes of the features. It was pretty interesting since I don't usually allow myself that much spontenaety when drawing, so I ended up with a bunch of very varied, very interesting looking characters. I kept going until I was eventually given some actual work to do by my supervisor.

Earlier, I finished reading A Spot Of Bother by Mark Haddon. It was very good.

Hello. A comic for you:
Drawn at work, as is the norm lately, so excuse the wobbliness.
I seriously get asked this all the time. Possibly because a lot of people I talk to apparently don't even know what illustration is, let alone why I'm doing a degree in it. I guess they're just pressing me to finally say "I want to do the drawings in childrens books!" or something so they can go "Oh, THAT's what it means..."
Also I decided to upload the following thing as well. It's part of a summer project I'm doing for uni. A visual diary about how boring my life is. (Hmm... Sounds familiar)
And, lastly, some stupid things I drew on blank receipts at work a few days ago:
Action Scientist is coming along nicely but very, very slowly. I forgot just how much time and effort goes into these damn things. You all had better love it, is all I'm saying.

To some people, paying a penny for a carrier bag is absolutely hilarious. This has happened to me a couple of times. I'm yet to understand why.
Also today, I decided to draw some of the Superhero Manga Graffiti characters, to see if I still could, and to see what they might look like today. Enjoy:

Hey, so here's the deal with Action Scientist: I've decided I'm actually going to draw some or all of them before I start posting them. That way I won't have to draw them to a deadline, which is something that took a lot of fun out of making Superhero Manga Graffiti. So I'll start drawing them in May, after I'm done with uni, but you won't get to see them until a while later. If you have a problem with that then.... tough. Screw you.

I wrote a comic about Twilight a few months ago (You know, back when it was still current) after I was forced at gunpoint to watch it. I couldn't be bothered to actually draw the thing. But Skippy could! Here's what happened:

DREADFULLY sorry about the lack of updates lately, chaps. I've been busy and kinda stressed and generally just not feeling all that funny. You know how it is, right? Yeah, you do.
Good news though, I have just finished the script for Action Scientist episode 3! I've been trying to get this story to work for literally years, and I'm finally happy with it. It felt good to be back to writing some comics that aren't all about me for a damn change. If all goes according to plan, it will be 12 pages long, and I will be able to start drawing and posting it in late May. No update schedule has been planned though.

Jenny was actually included in this exchange, but I decided to omit her here since, as I demonstrated in my last comic, I have no idea how to draw her, and as I've demonstrated in this comic, I seem to have the worst artist's block ever right now so she'd only have looked even worse.
